\subsubsection{Orijentacija modela na radnoj podlozi}\label{subsubsec:orijentacija_modela_na_radnoj_podlozi}
Orijentacija modela na radnoj podlozi odnosi se na smijer u kojemu želimo da se model izrađuje. Na slici \ref{fig:orijentacija_modela_na_radnoj_podlozi} prikazan je
paralelopiped u sve tri orijentacije u odnosu na radnu podlogu.
Orijentacija izrade vrlo je bitan parametar, jer je glavni faktor koji diktira smijer anizotropije samog modela, mehanička svojstva u smijeru Z-osi
(na slici \ref{fig:orijentacija_modela_na_radnoj_podlozi} plava os) bitno su drugačija od mehaničkih svojstava u smjerovima osi paralelnih sa radnom podlogom.\\
Ako se, primjerice, dijelovi koji su izloženi savijanju ispisuju tako da se slojevi talože okomito na silu savijanja (na slici \ref{fig:orijentacija_modela_na_radnoj_podlozi}
model lijevo), doći će do loma duž slojeva. Pravilnim postavljanjem modela može se izbjeći takvo ponašanje.\\

\subsubsection{Broj slojeva stijenke}\label{subsubsec:broj_slojeva_stijenke}
Broj slojeva stijenke definira koliko će puta mlaznica napraviti kružni ispis oko konture modela, stvarajući vanjski zid modela. Povećanjem broja stijenki smanjuje
se oslanjanje na unutarnju ispunu, što je korisno kod tankih ili strukturno osjetljivih modela. U kombinaciji s visokom širinom ekstruzije (\ref{subsubsec:sirina_ekstruzije})
i niskom visinom sloja (\ref{subsubsec:visina_sloja}) broj stijenki čini ključni parametar za poboljšanje čvrstoće modela.\\
